On February 23, 2026, at the Engineering Pedagogical College of the city of Dushanbe, in accordance with the work plan and at the initiative of the Department of Ecology and Natural-Mathematical Disciplines, a meeting of the student scientific club “Ҳамадон” in Physics was held on the topic: “Physics as the Key to Understanding the Natural World and the Foundation of Natural Sciences.”
This event was organized in order to implement the college’s action plan aimed at fulfilling the objectives of the Twenty-Year Program for the Study and Development of Exact, Natural, and Mathematical Sciences in the field of science and education (2020–2040). It was focused on improving students’ knowledge, forming a scientific worldview, and developing analytical thinking skills.
It should be noted that this initiative is carried out within the framework of the state and Government’s educational policy, as well as the implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at the development of exact sciences as a key factor in scientific and technological progress.
The meeting was opened by the Head of the Department, Farrukhi Nabi, who emphasized the importance of holding such scientific events in the context of rapid technological and innovative development.
Then, Physics lecturer Jumaev E.I., in his introductory speech, explained the role of physics as the fundamental basis of the natural sciences.
During the meeting, students delivered informative presentations, including:
Khalimov Khalimjon — “The Modern Scientific Picture of the World”;
Yakubzoda Sumaya Azimkhon — “The Mechanical Picture of the World”;
Sobirov Parviz Murodovich — “The Electromagnetic Picture of the World.”
The presentations were delivered with scientific analysis and practical examples and generated active discussion and academic debate.
The event was attended by the Deputy Director for Science and International Relations, Huseinova Shahlo Zaripovna; the Head of the Department of Science and Innovation, Vokhidov Zevarsho; and the Chief Specialist of the Academic Department, Bobosherov Davlatmurod. In their speeches, they encouraged students to deepen their study of exact sciences, develop logical thinking, and effectively apply knowledge in practice.
The event concluded with a question-and-answer session and a scientific discussion, which demonstrated the high level of preparation and strong interest of the participants in research activities.
The meeting was held in a constructive and scholarly atmosphere and contributed to the implementation of strategic objectives in the development of exact sciences and the enhancement of students’ research activities.
