ORGANIZATION OF A ROUND TABLE DEDICATED TO NATIONAL ARMY DAY

On February 21, 2026, the Engineering and Pedagogical College of Dushanbe hosted a round table entitled “The National Army as a Guarantor of Peace and Stability”, dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The main objective of the event was to strengthen the sense of patriotism, express appreciation to military personnel, enhance national self-awareness, and educate young people in the spirit of devotion to the Motherland.
The round table began with the performance of the National Anthem by the administration, teachers, and students, creating a solemn atmosphere and a special sense of pride in the peace and stability prevailing in the country. This memorable moment reinforced among the participants a deep sense of patriotism, respect for national values, and responsibility toward the state and the nation. The ceremonial atmosphere continued throughout the event, and participants once again expressed their commitment to safeguarding peace and stability and their respect for the National Army.
The event was opened by the Deputy Director for Science and International Relations, Huseinova Sh.Z., who emphasized the historical, political, and social significance of the establishment of the National Army. She noted that the army was formed during difficult years; however, thanks to the efforts of the country’s leadership and the strong will of patriotic youth, today the nation possesses a modern army capable of protecting its territorial integrity.
Afterwards, the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Candidate of Technical Sciences Misraliev Fakhriddin Denbegievich, delivered a congratulatory speech, highlighting that the National Army, as one of the most important achievements of the independence period, plays a key role in ensuring peace and stability and safeguarding the country’s borders.
The college’s legal advisor, Sobirzoda T.M., stated that this day symbolizes courage, patriotism, dedication, and a high sense of responsibility in serving the Motherland. During the years of independence, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan have followed an honorable path and have become a reliable shield of the state and the people.
During the round table, several informative presentations were delivered. Saida Jamila Nazirhodjaevna, a lecturer of the Department of Humanities, presented a report entitled “The History of the Establishment and Development of the National Army of the Republic of Tajikistan,” analyzing the stages of its formation and strengthening. Azizoda Madina Amirkhon, in her presentation “The National Army as a Symbol of Strength and a Reliable Shield of the State,” explained the strategic and defensive role of the Armed Forces.
Safaralieva Oluftamoh delivered a presentation entitled “Patriotism Begins with Protecting the Borders of the Motherland,” highlighting civic responsibility and the education of youth in the spirit of national self-awareness.
Several college students also delivered engaging presentations, including: Isroilova Munisa – “The National Army as One of the Fundamental Pillars of the State and the Nation”; Kholnazarova Gulnora – “The National Army as a Reliable Shield of the State”; Davlatova Sokhiba – “February 23 – The Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan”; and Yunusova Nazira – “The National Army as the Foundation of Public Security.” In their speeches, they emphasized the important role of the National Army in ensuring the country’s security.
During the discussion session, participants exchanged views on strengthening patriotism, the responsibility of youth toward the state, and the necessity of showing respect to military personnel. It was stressed that peace, stability, and public security are ensured through the dedication and selfless service of the officers and soldiers of the Motherland.
At the conclusion of the event, the administration expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and underlined the importance of holding such events in promoting military-patriotic education among young people.
The round table was held in an atmosphere of respect, national self-awareness, and pride in the country’s National Army, leaving a significant moral and educational impact on its participants.
