On February 25, 2026, in order to implement Clause 2 of the Cooperation Agreement between the Engineering and Pedagogical College of Dushanbe and the Higher College of Pedagogy and Industrial Technologies “Caspiy” of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the college’s teachers and students actively participated online in the international conference titled “Artificial Intelligence in the Education System: Opportunities and Risks.”
The main objective of the conference was to discuss current issues related to the implementation of artificial intelligence in the educational process, to identify new technological opportunities in the field of education, and to analyze potential risks and threats associated with its use in the educational environment.
At the plenary session, Shakhlo Zaripovna Huseinova, Deputy Director for Science and International Relations, delivered a presentation on the topic “Experience and Prospects for the Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the Education System of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Context of Regional Cooperation.” The presentation addressed issues of the practical application of artificial intelligence in educational institutions of the country, the need to improve the regulatory framework, the development of digital infrastructure, and the strengthening of regional cooperation.
In addition, Nilufar Rakhmonova, lecturer of the Department of Professional Pedagogy and Languages, as well as students Abdushukur Tuev, Nushofarin Barotova, Sokhiba Davlatova, and Manizha Ismatova delivered scientific reports at the sectional sessions of the conference. In their presentations, they highlighted issues related to the use of artificial intelligence in teaching, its impact on the quality of education, the opportunities provided by digital platforms, and the need to enhance digital literacy among teachers and students.
It was noted that such international events contribute to the expansion of scientific and educational cooperation, the exchange of best practices, the strengthening of professional ties, and the enhancement of the institution’s reputation in the international educational arena. The active participation of teachers and students in this conference serves as further evidence of the development of international relations and the effective implementation of the Cooperation Agreement with foreign partners.
